Golden Pumpkin Waffles

Perfect waffles for the fall and winter season

  • 1 cup all purpose flour unbleached, organic
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spices
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree organic
  • 2/3 cup milk adjust if necessary
  • 1 egg free-range
  • 1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup or honey or agave


  1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl; whisk.

  2. Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl; whisk.

  3. Add the wet ingredients to the other bowl and whisk together but don't over do it.

  4. Cook using a waffle pan or device.

  5. Serve with whipped cream or creme fraiche and your favourite jam.

Recipe Notes

We love to serve them with natural whipped cream and orange jam.
