Baby Fun Pea Pancakes

  • 1/3 cup sweet peas frozen or fresh
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • 1/8 cup cilantro or parsley chopped
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 2 quail eggs
  • 1 tbsp goat cheese grated
  • sourdough bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste optional
  • 1 tbsp whole-wheat flour optional
  • 1 tbsp water optional


  1. Boil sweet peas for about 4 mins

  2. Add the sweet peas, green onion, garlic, eggs, goat cheese, bread crumbs into a food processor and blend until smooth

  3. Add seasoning or skip that if making them for a baby under 1 year

  4. Adjust the desired consistency either with water, or whole-wheat flour

  5. Pour a small amount into a non-stick pan (sprayed with some oil) to result small pancakes

  6. Cook on medium to low heat on both sides

  7. Serve chilled

Recipe Notes

This time I added some whole-wheat flour since I wanted the batter to be thick (as you can see on the spoon in the images) so that the little one wouldn't smash them easily. I've also tried the recipe adding 1 or 2 anchovies and then I skipped the salt and they were delish!
