Easy Raw Fruit Jam

Avoiding sugar, I came up with this very nice easy raw fruit jam or topping (considering it’s thickness) made of fruits, honey and flax meal or chia seeds (meal). It is delicious, raw, healthy, and easy to make whenever you want with whatever fruit you have around. It takes very little time to make and it’s just so good!

You can serve it as a topping for pancakes, waffles, yogurt, buttered bread, cakes or creating a marble effect in an ice-cream (or simply topping it). The whole family loves it. We prefer strawberries or raspberries for this jam. If any leftover, put it in a jar and store it in the coolest place in the refrigerator up to a couple of weeks (if resisting that long). Enjoy!

  • 1 cup fruit of choice fresh or frozen
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp flax seed meal or chia seeds
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional


  1. Mix all the ingredients (except for the chia seeds if choosing or preferring the texture they create) in a small food processor.

  2. Set aside until it thickens a bit and serve.
